The GX5203 is an outdoor wireless color camera system that can be hidden for undercover indoor use. It comes with everything you need to start monitoring. The small but powerful bullethole camera is wireless and features automatic night vision (CDS sensor). As soon as it gets dark the infrared LEDs will activate and provide you with a clear view of everything, even in complete darkness! Plus, this camera has a built-in microphone so you won't miss a thing. This camera has been machined out of high grade aluminum and is packed full of quality components. The camera sends audio and video wirelessly to the handheld monitor, which has a 2.5" LCD screen for crystal clear viewing of your camera's show. Or you can connect the monitor to your TV, VCR, DVR or computer for viewing and recording purposes. This system comes with one camera, but you can add 2 more SVAT compatible cameras, and the auto feature allows you to cycle between the cameras at intervals that you choose. This system is ideal for discreet monitoring in home or business settings due to its small size and wireless capabilities. The camera and monitor are both powered by AC adapters but are also battery operable for ultimate portability (camera uses 9V battery; monitor uses 4 AAA batteries or rechargable battery pack - GX519B, not included). It includes: 1 color camera, 1 LCD monitor, 2 power adapters, 3.5mm to RCA (male) wire, Portable battery clip, mounting bracket, mounting hardware, instruction manual, on-line/toll free tech support and 1 year warranty. It is compatible with GX515, GX5201, GX5204, WSE201, WSE201C, WSE103, WSE103C.

I bought the SVAT GX5203 security system because the way my home is sitting I can not see the driveway nor the walkway to my house.
It works fantastic for that. At first I thought the monitor was not working very well but I realized I had to go it to get the reception just right and work around the microwave, cordless phone etc. I have it hooked to a 13 inch TV because I chose it was simpler to see. But I do like the ablility to take the small monitor with me when I am busy in the back of the house. I do have to go it around a bit sometimes to get it to come in but I realized it depended on where I posistioned the monitor in relation to the camera. I have the camera mounted under the eaves outside.
Also my cat chewed the electric cord the first week I had it and I wrote general support and recieved an answer by the next day and they very geneously offered to send a replacement cord.
I am plotting on buying another camera for my monitor. I reckon this is a fantastic system for the price and I would recommend this product based on my experience with it. |

| This is a very excellent product, I use it to view my garage area when I am on the opposite end of the house. I can carry the portable monitor upstairs or anywhere in the house and can maintain a excellent reception. I have very few interruptions of signal. Overall I am pleased with this given the price. The night vision is OK, but would suggest you leave an outside light on --it greatly enhances the picture quality. I also like the fact that you can have a permanent power AC adapter or battery option. |
Clear views with monitor

I bought this product after I read reviews here. The camera and monitor work well with AC adopters rather than batteries.
I place front of entrance and inside of my house to see outside of my front yard.
Last year neighbors had three thieves I chose to place three cameras.
I am thinking another one to outside of garage.
Yesterday I tested with 9v batteries for cameras and AAA batteries for monitor.
It was working for a few hours but it lost views.
I adjusted contrast and color but it did not change.
I replaced batteries to AC adopters and all got views again.
I am using extension cords to cameras.
Night visions are really excellent to see outside and people's faces.
I recommended this camera with monitor at my private blog, because it is so simple to set up , foreigners can do this. |

I bought a GX5203 to monitor the front side of my house. It provides most features that I expected from a wireless system. The color screen is clear and the camera sound is audible. The installation is a snap and I don't even have to read the manual to make it running. The camera viewing angle of 69 degrees is acceptable. I wish they will add a motion detector to the camera as an improvement in the future. |

| In my opinion, this item is well worth what it costs. Brilliant picture during the day time. Don't try to cover a large area with these mini cameras. A porch and door, a garage door and a part of the drive in front of it, the back yard are what these are for. I added a camera later because I was well satisfied. Don't fool yourself though into thinking that you can see pictures in the dark. If you're looking for that feature, get ready to pay out some bucks for it. But for the cost, this is a excellent item. I leave a light on at night where my camera is viewing and that gives me a pretty excellent picture. No problems with interference from other electrical or microwaves. |
