Excellent sturdy box, well-made. It suits my needs and the letter carrier said I made the right choice!

The locking feature, size and volume of this mailbox is wonderful. Now I can go on a 2 week vacation and not have to worry about stopping the mail because it will hold it all!

Installed this mailbox about a week ago. Seems strong, holds a lot. Only drawback is that no hardware was provided for mounting on a 4x4 post. If you buy the recommended steel post you get mounting hardware but if not, you better be a decent do-it-yourselfer or you're going to have distress.
Secure Mailbox

We needed a locked mailbox due to theft in the area and searched and searched for one. This is the largest we could find. We like it, BUT there are some issues. Where mail is entered in is not huge enough for boxes and if the mailcarrier does not push the mail all the way in, then the mail still hangs up in the delivery slot. We did not order the pole that comes with it, but used the one we had. My husband had to drill new holes, but we got it on there, but had to add some metal to the rear to adhere it to the pole since the box itself is huge and and bulky. Other than those two things, we like the security and peace of mind it gives. Mail will also stay dry.
Warning....

THe mail box is fantastic, but, the bolts that they include don't fit the "pre-drilled" holes in the bottom of the mail box, nor do any of the "pre-drilled" holes match up with the matching steel post that you can buy as a set. Apparently, they expect you to duct tape it to the post......
